Terms of Service

Last updated: 15 May 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Padelite mobile application and the related online services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

In short: use the Service for organising and playing padel tournaments, be honest with your information, treat other players with respect, and accept that match results and level changes are recorded permanently.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By creating an account you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Your account

3. How the Service works

3.1 For players

The Service lets you discover tournaments, register (alone or with a partner), see your schedule, follow live standings, and view a history of your matches and level changes.

3.2 For organisers

Tournament organisers use the Service to create and run events: collect registrations, approve teams, run draws, schedule matches, record scores, and crown champions. The organiser remains responsible for the rules and fairness of their tournaments.

4. Tournament rules and decisions

Tournament-specific rules (eligibility, levels, formats, payments, schedules) are set by the organiser of each event. The Service automates the operational parts of running those rules — group draws, standings, knockout brackets — but final decisions over specific situations (disqualifications, walkovers, score corrections) belong to the organiser of the relevant tournament.

5. Levels and the progression engine

The Service automatically updates your padel level based on your tournament results. Level changes are recorded as a transparent, auditable history and are intended to be objective. You agree that your participation in a tournament implies acceptance of the level changes that result from it.

6. Payments and fees

Tournament entry fees, when applicable, are collected by the organiser outside the app via their preferred payment rail (for example, Instapay). The Service requires you to upload a screenshot of the transfer so the organiser can verify the payment.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

8. Content you submit

Content you submit — including team names, applicant notes, payment receipts, and profile information — remains yours. By submitting content to the Service you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use it to operate and improve the Service (for example, displaying a team name on the bracket, or showing your profile to other players).

9. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Service you agree to that policy.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you breach these Terms or if your use of the Service materially harms other players or the platform's integrity. You can delete your account at any time by contacting privacy@padelite.com — historical match and tournament results may be retained in anonymised form to preserve the integrity of past events.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any specific purpose. Tournament scheduling and the timing of matches depend on factors outside the app (venues, weather, organiser decisions), and we make no warranty about those external conditions.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Padelite will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) USD 100.

13. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may modify the Service and these Terms at any time. When we change these Terms in a material way, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top and surface the change inside the app the next time you open it. Continuing to use the Service after a material change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively before the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt.
